Tips for the Best HS Senior Photos
I love Seniors. They are just SO Fun. Whether they are college or high school, I love them ALL.
TIME OF YEAR IN ARIZONA
The best time to schedule a session in Arizona is March/ April before it hits 100 degree weather. And then again in December/January. October & November is a high season in Arizona for Weddings & Family Photography.
LOCATIONs
We have so many great locations in Arizona that can provide a variety of looks. I recommend coordinating with your photographer since they probably have a few secret locations that will align with your wishlist. You do not need to figure it all out on your own!
Please not some locations like Lavendar fields & Sunflowers are seasonal in Arizona. So, depending on how specific your location is, we need to plan accordingly. We also may need to reserve the location ahead of time. Usually 6-8 weeks ahead of time is need to reserve a spot however, if you want your session to occur in Oct or Nov we will need to book the location in August.

I love a good inspo board of images. Even better if you share it prior to booking! Send me all the Pinterest boards. But what if you have no idea what to do, but you want your senior session to be epic or very personal?
I have a really great questionnaire that allows me to learn about you (or your child) and then my design background kicks in, and my creative juices start flowing. I will present a few options that we can chat about and discuss pros & cons based on what you have shared. Form there will finalize our plan and book the perfect locations as needed.
wardrobe
Wardrobe can really run the gamet. I always recommend 2 options + Cap & Gown if available at time of session. We can usually fit 3 options in a 60 min Senior session.
- Casual Outfit
- Dressy Outfit
- Sport or Hobby Related Uniform
If you cap & gown is not available at the time of your full session, we can do a mini cap & gown session. They are typically offered at the End of March/ Beginning of April.
